Transport : Coaches 2007-8

Our coach services bring pupils into school and take them home again in the afternoon. All coaches are scheduled to arrive by 8:25am. After school they start the return journeys at 3:50pm from the Hartswood sports ground before coming to school's Dining Hall car park to pick up the majority of the passengers.

Caterham Minibus departs from Woldingham Road (junction Longhill Road) at approximately 7:20am and then via corner of Crescent Road/Godstone Road, Corner of Bluehouse Lane/Station Road East, Oxted Interiors and then on to Reigate.

Crawley Coach departs from Three Bridges Station at approximately 7:35am then via Billington Drive, Maidenbower, Frogshole Pub, Balcombe Road, Shipley Bridge Roundabout, Horley Post Office, Horley Row (The Bull), The Chequers, Salfords and Tollgate Avenue.

Chipstead and Tadworth departs from Chipstead train station at 0720 then via junction of Garratts Lane/Holly Lane, Bolters Lane/The Horseshoe, junct of Fir Tree Rd/Brighton Road, junct Fir Tree Rd/Nork, Drift Bridge, Tattenham Corner. Departs Ashurst Road at approximately 7:44am then via Tadworth Station, Tadworth Street/Heathcote bus stop, Tadworth Roundabout, Kingswood Church, The Fox and on to Reigate.

Crawley Down & East Grinstead Coach departs from East Grinstead Station at approximately 7:35am and then via Felbridge, Crawley Down, Copthorne, Burstow and Smallfield.

Dorking Coach departs from South Street (Junction Butterhill) at approximately 7:32am then via The Maltings, Cliftonville, Windmill Pub, Beare Green, Capel, Newdigate, Hogspudding Lane/Woodpecker Lane, Parkgate Avenue (Surrey Oaks pub), Bunce Common, Leigh and The Plough.

Epsom Coach departs from Ewell East Station at approximately 7:10am then via the Organ Inn, Ewell Church, Ewell Village, Epsom, Ashtead, Lower Ashstead, Downsend School, St Johns School, Leatherhead, Box Hill Station, Dorking Station, Dorking Cemetery, Brockham, Buckland Church and Reigate Heath.

Horsham East Coach departs from Mannings Heath at approximately 7:25 am then via St Leonards Arms, Comptons Lane, Pollards Drive, Rusper Road/Lower Barn Close, Giblets Way/Rusper Road roundabout.

Horsham West Coach departs from Tesco, Broadbridge Heath, at approximately 7:25 am then via Wimblehurst Road Bus Stop, North Heath Lane, St Mark's Church Bus Stop.

Horsham Minibus Route departs Cabin Cafe, Faygate, Horsham Road bus stop/Buckswood Drive, Lay-by A23 Iron Bridge/Ifield Roundabout, Sidlow Garage (Blackhorse pub).

If you wish to use one of these services, please inform the Facilities Manager or his secretary (01737 222235) as soon as possible. The fare for 2007/2008 for each route is from £3.15 per single journey and £6.30 per day return. The price for pupils using the coaches on an occasional basis will be £3.25 per single journey.

Places on all coaches are subject to availability and no guarantee regarding such places can be given. Routes are reviewed annually.
