Accessibility
This site's layout is designed to accommodate
users who are visually impaired or have difficulties using
a mouse. It is fully compatible with popular screen reading
software and can be navigated using a keyboard. Coding is
kept simple by using cascading style sheets, and javascript
is used only for non-essential functions (mainly enlarging
images).
Access Keys:
This site features "access keys". These are shortcuts
allowing you to jump to other pages quickly. This is useful
if you have difficulties using a mouse or prefer to use these
shortcuts. We have used access keys to locate the main links
on the site. You can also read through the main sections of
the site in order by using the N (Next) access key.
We use the UK Government access keys standard, along with
a few site-specific keys. The full list is:

How you use these access keys depends on whether you use
a Windows PC or Mac, and also depends on your choice of browser.
For a Windows based operating system (PC):-
Internet Explorer 5 + : Press and hold down the ALT key, then
press the number or letter above, followed by the Enter (or
Return) key.
Internet Explorer 4, Netscape 7, Mozilla: Press and hold
down the ALT key, then simply press the number or letter above.
Netscape 6 and earlier: not supported.
For a Mac:-
Internet Explorer 5 + : Press and hold down the Control (CTRL)
key, then press the number or letter above, followed by the
Enter (or Return) key.
Netscape 7, Mozilla: Press and hold down the Control (CTRL)
key, then simply press the number or letter above.
Internet Explorer 4.5 and Netscape 6 and earlier: not supported.
Changing the font:
This website is designed to work in any font size. To view
any web site in larger or smaller fonts, follow the directions
for your browser:
Internet Explorer: If your mouse has a wheel, hold
down CTRL and roll the wheel down to increase font size (as
if pulling the text closer to you); CTRL and roll the wheel
up to decrease font size.
OR
1) Pull down the "View" menu (or press Alt+V).
2) Click on "Text Size" (or press X).
3) Click on your desired font size (or press G for Largest,
L for Larger, M for Medium, S for Smaller, or A for Smallest).
Netscape: Press Ctrl+] to increase font size; Ctrl+[
to decrease font size. On a Macintosh computer use Shift+Command+].
OR
1) Pull down the "Edit" menu (or press Alt+E).
2) Click on "Preferences" (or press E).
3) Click on "Appearance."
4) Click on "Fonts."
5) Change your font size to suit your needs.
6) Click on "OK"; button. (or press Enter)
Mozilla: Hold down Ctrl and press +
Printing pages of this website:
All text will print in black ink, in your selected font size.
Regardless of your chosen screen settings, no menus, images
or background colors will be printed. When you print any page
from this site, the printed copy will contain only the header
and text of the main content.
Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher on Windows and 4.5 or higher
on Macintosh currently support this feature. Other browsers
may as well.
