Who's who in the Foundation & Alumni Department

Development Director - John Manfield
John has been teaching at the school for over 30 years.  As one of the Deputy Heads of the school, he is involved in the strategic direction of the school, and as Development Director he leads the Foundation and Alumni team. John  took over from Guy Sanderson in January 2009 following a term as Acting Headmaster of the school. He continues to teach A level Business Studies. When he gets any spare time he spends it watching sport (participation is too painful these days), reading and trying to keep fit. Email: ajm@reigategrammar.org

Foundation and Alumni Manager - Ali Massey
Ali joined the school in 2003 and is responsible for the day to day running of the Foundation and Alumni Office. This includes the administration of the RGS Foundation, organisation of reunions and events, production of publications and mailings, and management of the Old Reigatian database. Ali qualified as a nurse at St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1991 and specialised in cardiac nursing before taking a career break in 2000 to spend time with her young family. When not working, Ali enjoys cooking and entertaining, walking, skiing, sailing (dead calm only!), music and family life. She runs to keep fit but is not sure if this is for enjoyment! Alumni Relations Officer - Paula Eason
Paula formerly worked as a Senior Press Officer in a large national charity and as a Communications Manager in the NHS. She joined the school in 2005. Paula is your first point of contact for Network OR and the Foundation and Alumni website. Paula is also a qualified swimming teacher and officiates at swimming galas. Apart from work she also enjoys learning Spanish, playing badminton and generally keeping fit, as well as ferrying her two teenage children to their various sporting activities. Alumni Data Administrator - Gill Tomkins
Gill worked in the fashion industry before moving to Reigate in 2002. Gill is very interested in charity work and has helped set up a charity to fund projects in rural Ethiopia. She has also worked in the Events dept of a leading children’s charity. Gill enjoys running and hopes to be able to run the London Marathon one day! Email: grt@reigategrammar.org
