How we use your
details
The
Foundation and Alumni Office gathers the personal information
of Old Reigatians to maintain contact between them and
the school, to offer services such as reunions and the
Network OR scheme, as well as providing opportunities for
Old Reigatians to support the school.
Reigate
Grammar School holds all information in accordance with
the Data Protection Act 1988. Your personal information
will not be sold or passed to any bodies not associated
with the school with the exception of contractors or agents
employed by the school to provide services such as mailing
and printing. The school may use your information to contact
you in the future about services such as Network OR, the
Business Directory, reunions and other events and initiatives
of interest to Old Reigatians.
Reunion
Attendance List
If you attend a reunion we will ask for your permission to include your details
in an attendance list.
Network
OR
If you choose to join Network OR by completing and returning a Network
OR form
you are authorising the school to share the information you provide with other
participants in Network OR, and giving your agreement to be contacted directly
by others in the network. You may opt out of Network OR at any time by contacting
the Foundation and Alumni Office. For more information see the Network
OR page.
Contact
with other Old Reigatians
Apart from the published documents above and the Network OR scheme, we will
not pass your details to other Old Reigatians. However, the Foundation and
Alumni Office may act as an intermediary to pass on requests for contact details
if they are not published.
Register
and the Supplement to the Register
Until June 2005 we produced an Old Reigatian Association Register every five
years with an annual supplement in between. Data protection laws are now so
stringent, requiring that every piece of data disclosed on an individual is
by consent and not default, that we have decided to stop this publication.
We hope that in the near future we will have a password protected online database
for Old Reigatians.
Your
details
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we have about you,
and to correct any inaccuracies. You can also change your details at any time
by contacting the Foundation and Alumni Office by emailing ora@reigategrammar.org telephoning
01737 222231 or by downloading the form here (PDF)
for completion and return to the Foundation and Alumni Office.

you do not wish to receive any mailings or other contact
from the Foundation and Alumni Office, please let us know.
