RGS Practice-a-thon for Charity

Raise money for CLIC Sargent with music practice between 19th – 30th September

The RGS practice-a-thon takes place from Monday 19th – Friday 30th September. Practice-a-thon is an annual UK-wide fundraising campaign organised by the charity CLIC Sargent. Music students can raise money for supporting cases of cancer and leukaemia in children by simply practising their instrument or voice, and asking for small amounts of sponsorship.

This is open to any RGS musician – come to the music department to find out more! The simple procedure is as follows:
1) Take a sponsorship form
2) Pledge to practise a number of minutes per day
3) Ask your parents and friends to sponsor you
4) Get practising!
5) Return sponsorship money, collected up in an envelope marked ‘Practice-a-thon’, with the pledge form, by 7th October.
