RGS Orchestral Concert

The biggest instrumental concert of this term is being held at the Harlequin, Redhill on Wednesday 23 November at 7.30pm. This concert will feature our Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, Swing Band, Junior String Orchestra and Junior Concert Band, as well as a new jazz group and several soloists. The repertoire includes Sibelius’s Finlandia and Shostakovich’s well-known Waltz No.2, as well as music from Mamma Mia, the hit show Rent, Stevie Wonder classics and Duke Ellington’s Caravan. We look forward to being able to show you what the students have been working on. Tickets are available from the Harlequin Box Office. For parents of students who are performing at the Harlequin, please see the separate letter detailing all the arrangements. Please note: as the usual Harlequin Theatre car park is no longer available, we recommend that you use the car park in Clarendon Road.
