Gold Medalist Susannah Townsend Coaches at RGS

On Thursday, we were honoured to welcome Gold Medalist Susannah Townsend to RGS.  During the day Susannah ran a Hockey masterclass, offering students the opportunity to learn from her vast experience and gain skills that will help them continue to succeed, as they have done all year.  The class was open to all students from RGS and RSM.

Following the day’s activities, Susannah attended the annual Senior Sports Diner at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking.  Following a plethora of student awards, Susannah gave an inspirational talk on the challenges of becoming an Olympian and told the story of her route to success, one that has not always been easy.

The whole day was a resounding success and we are extremely grateful for Susannah’s time and wisdonm
