English Karate Federation Championships

On April 8 Zack B was chosen by his Karate Association to compete in the England Karate Federation Championships in Leicester.  This open competition was the first time that Zack has competed at this level with clubs from different styles of Karate from across the UK.

There were 16 competitors in his category for Kumite (free fighting).  Unfortunately Zack was knocked out of the competition by the eventual winner, who went on to beat an England squad member in the final.

Zack competed with control and respect, a wonderful achievement at this level at such a young age.  He continues to train with his club and will be competing in other open competitions in the future and we look forward to following his progress.
