Nick’s Success – Music to our ears

Nick Ingram, one of RGS’s top class musicians is off to Oxford to read Music having secured 3 A’s at A-Level, as well as an A* in his EPQ. Nick, an outstanding player of the both the Tuba and Trombone, personally wrote the brass fanfare that opened the RGS concert at St. John’s Smith Square, Westminster, in March this year. Nick spoke positively about his experiences at RGS saying

“The music department is more of a community than a department. They made me feel very welcome and that has helped me thrive. The most important thing about school life is to go beyond the curriculum and getting an A* in my EPQ will hopefully be an asset to me in the future.”
