Twins – Top of the Table

RGS twins George and Billy Elliston both achieved the best results possible at A Level, securing 3A*s each. George got his A*s in History, Politics and Theology and Philosophy and is off to study Law at Durham University, whilst brother Billy, achieved his results in Politics, Maths and Economics. Billy is off to study Economics at Nottingham. Both boys have contributed hugely to life at RGS with George, Head Boy and 1st XI Cricket Captain, organising and chairing a high profile debate on the EU referendum earlier this year and Billy, House Captain, playing for the First XV rugby team, and with his teammates, he was crowned a National Champion in the Natwest Competition at Sixways Statium.

Delighted with their results, George said

Billy also said he was feeling shocked and surprised, he said

“The teachers go above and beyond, they really do. I am feeling pure excitement. I can’t thank the teachers enough.”
