Soldier’s wartime letter unearthed at RSM

The story of a soldier’s letter, dated 1915 but only recently discovered in Reigate St Mary’s archives has been published in the press.  George Garton was an RSM Old Boy who wrote to apologise in advance for his absence at Old Boys’ day as a result of all weekend passes being stopped by the military.

RSM students were given the chance to read the article as part of their Remembrance Day services.
