Simon Keenlyside Visit

Simon Keenlyside, the internationally renowned operatic baritone and star of the Royal Opera House and The Metropolitan Opera, visited RGS on Tuesday to work with the newly formed RGS Boys’ Singing Group. Simon is a hugely respected performer, not only for his singing but also his fine acting and highly expressive manner on stage. Passionate about the importance of text and ‘not holding back’ when communicating with an audience, he very quickly had the boys singing with great enthusiasm and the sound was fantastic.

The Boys’ Group is open to any boy in the school to join and they will be performing at the RGS Choral Recital next week, on Tuesday 6 Feb.
