Dragon’s Den Enterprise Competition

Three Young Enterprise (YE) companies visited Canon’s Reigate office this week to enter a one-off Dragon’s Den style competition organised by YE scheme. Set in an large auditorium, each company was required to provide a four minute presentation followed by a Q&A session in front of a panel of judges.

All three RGS companies made good account of themselves with Flareware coming second place, winning a cash prize of £75.
Flareware began the year with a great idea for a new sports brand and it is great to see this team beginning to realise their true potential – they arrived with confidence in their FW branded clothes and gave a strong, impressive presentation. The other two RGS teams were unlucky not to win, especially Donatus who also did a great job.

Formal YE competition stages begin on 21 March. Until then the groups continue to work away at developing and trading their products.
