Silver for Cameron in his first international taekwondo competition

Cameron R recently travelled to Rome to compete in his first international taekwondo competition. The event brought together 621 competitors representing 60 taekwondo clubs from 12 countries. Cameron was one of eight selected from his club to travel to Rome and between them, they brought home nine medals – three gold, two silver and four bronze.

Cameron had to compete in four rounds in his sparring event, decisively winning the first three before finally conceding to a competitor from the Ukraine, graded two belt levels above him! Cameron showed fantastic determination throughout the competition and is delighted with his silver medal.

Congratulations Cameron on bringing home the silver medal, especially given this is your first international event!
