Pasta Masterclass from Chef Mandy Kirsten-Foster
Third Form GCSE Food, Preparation and Nutrition students enjoyed a Pasta Masterclass this week. Chef Mandy Kirsten-Foster guided students through the traditional ways to make pasta by hand. This was then made into spinach and ricotta ravioli with a sage and butter sauce. This is a very highly skilled dish to make and all the students handled the pressure well. The afternoon was concluded with the making of beetroot pasta which was turned into linguine, spaghetti, tagliatelle to name a few.
