Girls victorious in the annual girls v boys netball match

On Friday 23 March the Upper Sixth Form girls played the Upper Sixth Form boys at lunch-time in their annual fixture. Sam J did a fantastic job as the boys’ team manager, not only organising the various playing combinations of his 26 players, but also orchestrating their team tactics, half-time oranges and water boys! However, it was the girls who were winners, beating the boys 15-4.

After school, there was a mini tournament between the staff, Old Girls, senior girls and senior boys. After the round robin format was played out and some very close matches, it was the Old Girls’ team who emerged as winners.

It was great to see lots of Old Reigatians back at school playing netball, many of whom are currently playing netball for their University teams.
