Year 7 District Athletics

On Wednesday afternoon RGS Hartswood fielded year 7 girls’ and boys’ teams in the District Athletics competition. There were some exceptional performances with gold medal achievements from Oscar G in the long-jump, Angelina L in the discus, Devon M in the 200m, Yoli M in the high jump, Michelle O in the shot and Electra M in the hurdles.

The girls team won their competition overall, and pictured below are their captains Electra M and Ini A with the winners shield. The boys came well earned 4th. Well done to all for taking part.
