Piano Showcase Concert

This Wednesday saw many of the best pianists at RGS perform in the annual Piano Showcase. Students from the full breadth of the school performed a variety of works, from Scott Joplin to Bach, to a hugely appreciative audience in the Recital Room. A particular highlight was a performance by four pianists at two pianos of the famed Danse Macabre by Saint Saens – a hugely impressive feat of virtuosic pianism and co-ordination.

The evening was testament to the dedication and talent of the pianists at RGS and bodes well for the future of pianism at the school and beyond.
