RGS Informal Concert

In the latest instalment of RGS’s series of Informal Concerts, students performed pieces such as Copland’s Hoe Down and Mozart’s Fantasia, and provided a global tour with pieces from, amongst others,  Japanese, Russian and American composers, to a hugely appreciative audience.

This was a particularly special concert as the piano used was generously donated by the family of Jim Peters (RGS 1940-1945). The Peters family loved the performances and commented that Jim would be so pleased to know that his piano was being used by such proficient musicians here at the school he loved. We are extremely grateful to Jim’s family for their generous donation.
