Strings Recital

The Strings Recital on Tuesday featured violin, guitar and cello solos performed by RGS musicians from First Form to Lower Sixth Form. It was a spectacular evening of sophisticated performances and huge credit goes to all the string players for preparing such significant pieces of repertoire to exceptionally high standards. Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Bloch, Kreisler and Kabalevsky were all represented and on a cold evening in the Recital Room, great warmth of spirit was shown by all.

String players at RGS play vital roles in ensemble music as well and they will be seen in action in the second half of term at the Ensembles Concert and at RGS In Concert at Cadogan Hall.
