Biology Olympiad

Congratulations to the 37 RGS students, mostly from the Lower Sixth Form, who entered this year’s Royal Society of Biology Olympiad. They did incredibly well, especially considering that the competition is aimed at students in their second year of A Level studies.

RGS medal recipients were:

• Gold: Ayan S (Upper Sixth Form)
• Silver: Juliet A, Joe J, Prutha V and Rosie S (Lower Sixth Form)
• Bronze: Alhumam A and Annabelle P (Upper Sixth Form); Lauren C, Sarah T, Sana S, Hassan M, Anastasia B, Isabel N and Mary C (Lower Sixth Form)

In addition to 14 medals, eight students achieved highly commended certificates and another eight commended certificates.
