National cross country success for Lucy D

Congratulations to Lucy D on winning her first National Cross Country team title. On Saturday 9 March Lucy took part in the British Athletics Inter-Counties Cross Country Championships at Prestwold Hall in Loughborough. The event saw top athletes from 40 counties across Great Britain take part in one of the biggest events of the year. Lucy was selected as one of only eight U13 athletes in Surrey to race at this prestigious event. With only four from the team scoring, Lucy pulled off an amazing performance to secure gold as part of the winning Surrey team.
