House Debating

Cranston and Bird argued it out in the House Junior Debating Final with the motion being ‘This House believes that it is time for the British monarchy to be abolished’. After strong speeches from the First and Second Form debaters (Elizabeth S, Emma T, Arun L, Anna P, Krish P and Austin B) the vote from the Floor defeated the motion. Bird were judged to be the winning team, based on the quality of their speeches against the motion and Austin B was chosen as Speaker of the Debate.
