French Exchange 2019

The 2019 edition of RGS’s annual French Exchange with Lycée Sainte Marie Beaucamp near Lille in the north of France was a great success thanks to the kindness of all students and parents involved. It was heart-warming to witness French and English partners trying so hard to communicate and share experiences such as finding out about each other’s family life, school life and sharing cultural visits in England on the first leg of the exchange and then in and around Lille on the second leg.

Despite initial apprehension and trepidation, students will keep some fond memories of this amazing opportunity and some already have plans to meet up again with their partner in the summer.
