MMI Interviews for prospective medics and dentists
Thursday saw the return of the infamous multiple mini interviews (MMI) for Upper Sixth Form prospective medics and dentists. Most interviews for these subjects (as well as veterinary, medicine and midwifery courses) take this form. Students move from one station to another, spending five minutes at each. They had to answer some questions that they might have expected for example “What do you see as the qualities of a good doctor/dentist?” but they also had to deal with some quite challenging and unusual role play scenarios.
Overall students seemed to enjoy the experience, and it will help them enormously when faced with the real thing over the next few months.
