Scarlett S commended prize for national translation competition

Congratulations to Scarlett S on being commended in the U18 category of the Stephen Spender Poetry Translation Competition 2019. Scarlett was invited to the winners’ ceremony this week where she gave a public reading of her translation into English of a poem originally in Breton language called The Intruder’s Work by Anjela Duval. Scarlett was also awarded an anthology of translated poetry as well
