Polyphony visit to Queens’ College, Cambridge

Polyphony were fortunate enough to visit Queens’ College, Cambridge this week to sing choral evensong with their chapel choir.

Old Reigatian, Eleanor M, is currently studying Classics at Queens’ College. One of Eleanor’s passions whilst at RGS was being a member of Polyphony and she was inspired to apply for a choral scholarship when she gained a place at Cambridge University. This connection with Queens’ College made a joint evensong possible. RGS students gained fantastic experience from singing under the direction of renowned choral director, Ralph Allwood and in the company of the accomplished undergraduate singers who make up this exceptional choir. The tea and cakes served in the beautiful Long Gallery beforehand were also a highlight.
