Owen’s making waves

Owen K, a swimming star for RGS, club and Welsh National champion multiple times, has achieved a fantastic 3A* grades in his A Level results in Economics, Maths and Physics. Not only a swimmer, Owen was also a key member of the Reigate Grammar 1st XV rugby team and has played at club level and for the Welsh Exiles. He has also undertaken a volunteering project in Uganda, working within schools and rural communities.

Owen is looking forward to going on to Nottingham University where he will study Economics. Owen, delighted with his results said:

“I’d like to thank all my teachers for being so clear and helpful throughout this tough and uncertain time. I always felt I had their support and they helped me the whole way through. The results are a credit to them, and I am very thankful for their support. I am excited to go to Nottingham – the course looks good for me and I am excited to get involved in sport if Coronavirus sorts itself out – I can’t wait!”
