RGS U15 Hockey Squad only 238km from Lapland

During Lockdown 2, the RGS U15 Hockey Squad wanted to do something to keep themselves active whilst unable to play matches and wanted an activity to keep themselves together as a squad, so they decided they would walk, run, cycle and row the distance to Lapland for charity! They selected StripeyStork as their charity, raising funds for their Santa Stork campaign which will buy gifts for children in need this Christmas.

The distance to Lapland (as Santa flies) is 2338km and their target is to reach it before Christmas day. The girls set themselves a target of raising £1000. After three weeks, they have travelled over 2,100km and raised a magnificent £1,623.40!
