National Schools’ Netball Competition

Well done to both the RGS 1st VII and Under 14 Netball teams who competed in the National Schools’ Netball competition on Sunday 13th November.  Both teams played brilliantly, competing well especially considering the standard of netball in Surrey, and its history of producing National Champions.

The 1st VII beat a variety of teams including St Catherine’s and Cranleigh.  The Under 14’s really stepped up to the challenge too, narrowly missing out on a place in the semi-finals and losing only to the two teams who are progressing through to the National Finals.  Their victories came against St George’s, Coloma, St Teresa’s, Royal Russell and Cranleigh – a fantastic effort!
