Gabriele – everything in harmony

Gabriele Brasaite, an astonishing musician who on top of her studies at RGS, attends the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music, playing the violin, has achieved 12A*s at GCSE. Not only is she one of the best musicians in the school, Gabriele is a keen scientist who has taken part in a number of Royal Society of Chemistry competitions. Gabriele, keen to continue her music as an addition to her studies, will be studying Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics at A Level at RGS. We do hope that her results will inspire many other girls to pursue STEM subjects and careers. Gabriele was so happy when she received her results this morning, she said:

“I’m so surprised, I prepared so much but it’s all still so unsure. I can’t believe I got this. I want to thank all my teachers; without them I couldn’t have achieved any of this. Over the summer I have been going to music courses, and trying to forget all about results day.”
