Scottish Youth Climbing Championships

Last weekend, Lauren T attended the Scottish Youth Climbing Championships at Ratho International Climbing Centre in Edinburgh. The day started with two qualifying rounds. Lauren placed 4th in round one and joint 5th in round two, placing her 5th overall. This ranking saw Lauren through to the finals.

During the next stage climbers were taken into an isolation room so that they were unable to watch each other climb or see the routes which had been set for them. Thanks to her hard work and dedication throughout the summer, Lauren placed 4th out of the 18 climbers, some of whom are member of team GB!
