Netball Season Begins

The Netball season kicked off this week for the U13’s with the first round of the Independent Schools Cup, at home to St. Swithun’s, Winchester. The squad consisted of First and Second Form girls.

After a steady start playing new combinations, RGS ended the first quarter 4-3 up. Special mention goes to First Form student Sophia Clark who put in a strong debut performance for both the school and the U13 team.

The girls showed serious grit and determination and fought hard. finishing up winning the game 14-7. Players POM – Juliette CW, Coaches POM – Eva M.

This was a great start – onto the next game for round two of the knock out cup.
