Record Breaking Hockey

RGS’s current U14 boys’ team are the first ever to successfully qualify for Surrey finals, played last week at Charterhouse school. RGS played Lingfield in the semifinals, winning 1-0, which put them through to the final where they met last year’s national champions – St George’s. Although RGS didn’t secure the win on this occasion, by coming second in Surrey they qualify for the regional heats – another first for #TeamReigate.

The U15 boys are experiencing a great cup run in the Independent Schools’ Hockey Cup (ISHC). Having previously travelled to Somerset where they were victorious against Kings Bruton, last week they played Alleyns at home. It was a tight game but RGS secured a 1-0 win seeing them through to the last 16 of this national competition – a first for RGS.
