William A wins the Surrey Golf U18 Blue Division

Congratulations to William A on winning the Surrey Golf U18 Blue Division (handicaps 7-18) knockout. William triumphed three and two after scoring 10 pars in the last 12 holes to take the trophy.

This was actually the 2020 match rolled over which began in pre-Covid days with William playing his first match in January 2020. The competition involved 44 players from golf clubs across Surrey. William progressed over five rounds, played on both home and away courses, before the final was played at a neutral venue – Tyrell’s Wood GC.

William received his Trophy from Steve McNeil (Surrey Golf County Secretary).
