RGS features in The Cricketer Schools Guide 2024
We are delighted to announce RGS has been included in the annual The Cricketer Schools Guide 2024 for the eighth year running.
The Cricketer publishes its Schools Guide that features the top 100 senior, the top 50 prep/junior and the top 20 all-girls schools in a bumper 164-page supplement. It follows an exhaustive process that saw many schools submitting entries. All entries have been judged against an extensive set of criteria, which included a compelling commitment to cricket in the curriculum, facilities, fixture programmes and coaching.
Head of cricket, Mr James Leck said, ‘Cricket is very much part of the sporting offering for boys and girls here at RGS. We have excellent facilities at Hartswood, including three grass pitches, one artificial wicket, six artificial nets and grass practice wickets. The standard of coaching is high, and we cater for players of all abilities.’
The guide will be on sale Friday 17th November with a digital version available at the beginning of December.
