Progression for RGS students from County Hockey

This is the time of year when players have completed their season of county matches and hear whether they have been nominated for further progression along the England Hockey Player Pathway. Congratulations go to to all students below  who have been nominated for Academy Centre Assessment (ACA), which is the final stage of assessment before the Academy Centre – county squads. Further congratulations should go to the below students who have been nominated for the Hockey Performance Centre (PC), training for Regional Centre selection.

England Call up for Peggy

Peggy W was invited to attend an England U16 training camp at Lilleshall over half-term. One player from each Performance Centre was selected to attend, together with 14 of the existing U16 England squad. Although attendance at the camp was a one off with no guarantee of a futures place this year, it was a  great opportunity to play and train at a really high level with the England coaches. Congratulations Peggy!
