Owen’s GCSEs go swimmingly

National swimming champion, Owen K, gained a fantastic eleven GCSEs at grade 9/8 (A* equivalent) despite an intensive programme of training and swimming galas throughout the year. To add to his academic success, Owen qualified for the British Swimming Championships in Edinburgh in March, competing alongside all the British elite swimmers including Olympic, World Champion and record holder Adam Peaty.

Over the next twelve months he hopes to continue to keep a good balance between swimming and academics.

After my A Levels, I would like to study Maths or Sport at university.

Mrs. Knowles said she was ecstatic with Owen’s results.

I am so proud of Owen as he has achieved wonderful grades as well as doing so much outside school.
