First Form T&P trip to Southwark Cathedral
The whole of the First Form visited Southwark Cathedral in London, discovering the different parts of the cathedral and the symbols that represent the Christian faith. The tour guides kept the group engaged by putting out clothes that members of the church would wear, making the experience much more fun as and providing the opportunity to dress up and understand certain rituals.
In the afternoon we created our own clay tiles with the Christian symbols we had learnt earlier in the day. The trip was definitely worth-while and we learnt a lot of new information that we can now use in our T and P lessons.
