Surrey Swimming Success & National Qualification

In September our swimmers performed exceptionally well in the Surrey School Relay Championships. Our Senior Girls won both the Medley and Freestyle Relay and our Senior Boys were Surrey Champions for the Freestyle Relay too. Our Inter Girls placed 2nd in the Freestyle Relay and 3rd in the Medley Relay. There were also strong performances from the Inter Boys, Junior Boys and Junior Girls.

Over half-term, we heard of our successful qualification for the National Relays Finals in several events. The finals take place at the London Aquatic Centre on 20th November. Due to covid restrictions, only the top 20 schools in each age group have qualified (pre-covid this was 30) and the next 10 have been listed as reserves which is still a tremendous achievement.

Congratulations to our Senior and Intermediate Girls who have qualified in the Top 20 for both the Medley and Freestyle Relays. Our Boys’ Senior Medley Team (25th) & Inter Boys Freestyle Team (30th) have been placed as reserves and will wait to hear if they will qualify.
