Olivia wins Gold!

Wonderful news for Olivia H who competed at the 2021 British Championships held in Stoke-on-Trent last weekend. After successfully getting through qualifying rounds earlier this year, her team won gold in the Team Gym division of the competition.

Team Gym is slightly different from traditional artistic gymnastics. It is a team sport, where they perform a synchronised floor routine, tumbling, vaulting and trampette, all to music.

Despite many setbacks over the past year which interfered with training, this winning team of six girls from Leatherhead and Dorking gymnastics club were able to walk away with a gold medal.
