Co & Extra Curricular

Our rich and diverse extra and co-curricular programme allows Sixth Formers to work out who they are and what they love.

We offer a huge range of extra and co-curricular activities that ensures participation and facilitates excellence in equal measure, allowing students to explore new challenges beyond the curriculum.

Our sports and performing arts provision is outstanding, with individuals and teams achieving representative honours for their county, region and even national recognition. We also pride ourselves in the breadth of sport, music and drama on offer with a huge range of activities to get involved in.

We also offer the largest Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme programme in the country and a thriving Combined Cadet Force unit.

Our co-curricular programme offers a range of dedicated Sixth Form discussion and academic groups such as Model United Nations, the Thank Science it’s Friday group, History and Politics Society and The Academy philosophy discussion group to name but a few.

Whatever you are interested in or are passionate about, there is an opportunity for you to learn more about it in the Sixth Form at RGS.
