These schools are part of the RGS family and share our core values of kindness, curiosity and care, while maintaining their own distinctive characters and strengths.
Together, these schools offer outstanding care and education, nurturing happy, confident children who are ready to take their next steps.
Each year, around half of the children joining Reigate Grammar School at 11+ come from one of our junior schools, while the other half join us from a wide range of local primary schools, and every child is welcomed equally.
Your Path to RGS
Whether you are considering a junior school now, or looking ahead to 11+ entry, our aim is simple: to help your child flourish in a nurturing, ambitious environment where they are known, supported, and inspired every step of the way.
Whichever route you take, we offer a carefully planned transition that helps pupils feel confident, excited and ready for the next stage. We put time and thought into helping children settle in, form friendships, and become part of the RGS community.

Joining RGS at 11+
Many families choose to join us directly into First Form (Year 7), and we warmly welcome students from a wide variety of schools. In fact, children joining at 11+ often comment on how quickly they feel part of school life.
We understand that moving up to senior school is a big step, and our experienced team works hard to make that transition smooth, happy and exciting. From welcome events and induction days to tutor support and new friendships, we make sure every student, and every parent, feels confident and included.
RGS has a wonderful mix of local families and those who travel from further afield. No matter where they come from, deep friendships are formed, creating a fabulously diverse and vibrant school community.
