While many of our families live locally, we know that convenience and peace of mind are key when it comes to the school run especially with busy family lives. That's why Reigate Grammar School operates a well-established coach service, helping students travel safely and comfortably from surrounding areas.
Our online transport booking system allows families to view routes, check availability and manage coach bookings with ease. Our Coach Routes
We currently offer 12 coach routes covering a wide area of Surrey and West Sussex. Each route is designed to get students to school on time and with minimal fuss.
Current routes include:
- Banstead & Coulsdon
- Caterham
- Crawley
- Dorking
- Epsom
- Guildford & Merrow
- Horsham
- Oxshott
- Oxted
- Shalford
- Sutton & Kingswood
- Tattenham & Tadworth
All coaches are scheduled to arrive by 8:25am, with return journeys starting from Hartswood Sports Ground at 4:05pm, followed by a stop at the main school site.
Train Station Shuttle Services
We also offer two Reigate & Redhill station shuttles for students arriving by train:
- Reigate Station shuttle: £1.00 per day
- Redhill Station pick-up via the Oxted coach: £1.00 per day
This is a great option for older students travelling from Guildford, Dorking, East Croydon, Purley, Coulsdon South or Merstham, ensuring they get to school on time even with instruments or sports bags in hand.
Late Coaches
For students staying late for clubs, sport or rehearsals, we offer a late coach service Monday to Thursday:
- Leaves Hartswood Sports Ground at 5:30pm
- Arrives at school for onward travel at 5:45pm
- Routes run North, North-West, South, East and West
- Free for termly ticket holders / pay-as-you-go for occasional users
Students should book onto late coaches by 2:00pm each day either at the Porter’s Desk or by scanning a QR code on-site.

Occasional tickets are available for most routes from the Porter’s Desk and are collected by the driver at the start of the journey.
