The RGS Foundation is the heart of our global Reigatian community. While your child may just be beginning their journey at Reigate Grammar School, they are also stepping into something much bigger: a vibrant, supportive network that will be there long after school days are over.
The RGS Foundation brings together all Reigatians, students, parents, former pupils, staff and supporters to create opportunities for students today, and for generations to come.
What does the RGS Foundation do?
What are the benefits to your family and how can you get involved?
Being part of the global, Reigatian community, means you and your child belong to a lifelong, global network, offering mentorship, career pathways and friendships that reach far beyond school.
As Reigatians, you are invited to Find Your Fit in ways that are right for you, including:
- Sharing your skills, opportunities, or advice through the Reigatian Hub
- Attending RGS Foundation Events
- Entering the IMAGINE Prize Draw for a chance to win fabulous prizes
- Supporting, regularly or occasionally, at a level that’s right for you
- Leaving a legacy to help future generations thrive
- Volunteering with our charity partners
- Browsing the RGS Digital Archive
Together, Reigatians are helping to shape a more inclusive, diverse, and opportunity-filled future for everyone.
Charlotte Chinery (RGS 2015-2022)
Since leaving RGS in 2022 to study Architecture at Loughborough, I needed to secure a year-long industry placement. The RGS Foundation connected me with Tony Plaw (RGS 1976-1983) at PLP Architecture in London. After sharing my portfolio and interviewing, I secured a role as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant.
This opportunity came directly from the lifelong Reigatian network - a community that continues to support you long after you leave school. I’m hugely grateful for the guidance and connections that made this possible and look forward to giving back, helping future Reigatians achieve their ambitions.

Jack Grant (RGS 2014-2021)
After connecting with a recently retired Reigatian through the Reigatian community, I received invaluable advice and guidance ahead of my interviews, which played a key role in securing a position at his previous firm. It really reinforced how powerful the Reigatian network can be - not only in offering support and mentorship, but also in fostering a strong sense of connection. Staying involved with the Reigatian community after leaving RGS is a fantastic way to stay connected, give back, and be part of a network of alumni who genuinely want to see each other succeed. I hope that one day I’ll be able to offer the same guidance to a fellow Reigatian.
Every act of support - big or small - creates a butterfly effect.
