School Fees from September 2025
| Years 7-8 | £9,265 per term (including VAT at 20%) |
| Years 9-13 | £9,515 per term (including VAT at 20%) |
There will be no further adjustment to fees for VAT. There will be the usual annual inflationary adjustment that is announced each March for the next academic year.
What is Included
Fees cover tuition, most clubs and co-curricular activities, and day trips. Some extras, such as exam entry fees, residential trips, music lessons, coach transport, or specific insurances, are billed separately.
Our school lunches offer a wide range of freshly prepared meals and snacks and are purchased via a cashless system using catering points around the school.
Flexible Payment Options
We aim to make fee payments as manageable as possible. Options include:
- Termly Direct Debit (preferred)
- School Fee Plan (SFP) – monthly instalment option (subject to approval)
- Fees in Advance Scheme – for families wishing to make a one-off lump sum payment and benefit from a discount

Financial Support & Sibling Discounts
We are committed to widening access to an RGS education and offer a range of means-tested bursaries and scholarships. These are designed to support talented children, whatever their background or financial circumstances. Insurance Options
- Personal Accident Insurance: Included for all students (no charge)
- Fees Refund Scheme: Optional (0.82% of termly tuition fee)
- Pupils’ Personal Effects Insurance: Opt-out basis (£8.31 per term)
