At Reigate Grammar School, learning does not stop at the classroom door. Our extensive trips and expeditions programme offers students the chance to explore the world around them, deepen their academic understanding, build friendships and confidence, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Where Learning Meets Adventure

From Europe’s cultural capitals to South African sports tours, glacial landscapes in Iceland to community work in Croatia, RGS students are encouraged to broaden their perspectives and embrace adventure.

Our trips are designed to complement classroom learning and enrich school life. Some run every year, others as part of a two- or three-year cycle, ensuring all students will have the chance to take part during their time at RGS.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

These trips are an important part of what it means to be a Reigatian. They ignite curiosity, nurture independence, and reinforce our ethos of Be Happy, Belong, and Become Future Ready.

Students return from trips with wider perspectives, stronger friendships, and the self-belief to take on whatever comes next.

Education is more than lessons, at RGS it is about creating opportunities that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and spark lifelong passions. Through challenge, adventure, and shared experience, students discover who they are and what they can become.
