Today is one of the most special days in the school year - the day we celebrate our Upper Sixth students’ achievements and wish them well for the next exciting stage of their lives.
We are proud to share another year of exceptional results:
- Nearly 95% of grades at A*-B
- 98% of students holding offers from world-class universities
- 100% success for Oxbridge offer holders
- Prestigious apprenticeships and scholarships
- Over 100 students starting medical training in the last three years
These results are the product of our students’ hard work and the exceptional care, teaching, and guidance they receive here. Beyond the grades, each young person leaves RGS having developed confidence, character, and curiosity - qualities that will serve them well in life.
Our leavers’ destinations speak to their ambition and breadth of talent - from Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, LSE, Durham, Warwick, and Bristol to top medical schools including Cambridge, UCL, Brighton & Sussex Medical School, and St George’s. Students have also secured international places and will study everything from Economics, Engineering, and Law to Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, and the Arts.
We are also delighted to recognise the success of our sister school, RGS Surrey Hills, where both A Level and IB pathways are offered within a small, close-knit Sixth Form. Their IB students achieved well above the world average, with destinations ranging from Durham and King’s College London to individual pathways such as motorsport engineering in Oxford and computer games animation in Germany.
Headmaster, Shaun Fenton commented:
I am so proud of every student. Their results are through their hard work, and the exceptional care, teaching, and guidance they receive at RGS. Each student is supported to flourish and grow in a complex and changing world. These results reflect not only what our students have achieved, but who they have become.

"I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of your constant ongoing support with my son's A Levels. Thank you for all that you do year after year for the students. The teachers have all been amazing. "
